Hanging Compost Container

I am looking for the type of bin that hangs on a kitchen drawer front, which enables me to prepare my veg on a board on the worktop, then just scrape the waste into the collector. I have seen one somewhere and just wish I had bought it, because I can't remember where it was now. The edge was the width of the drawer with two clips that hooked over the drawer front, the front edge being moon shaped giving a good sized space for collection. Any ideas?

Hi Jean,

Unfortunately, we're not familiar with this design, but it seems like a fantastic idea.

Can you provide us with a little more information about the compost container? What material was it made of? Did you see it online or in a store?

The design is relatively simple by the sounds of it so if you, or someone you know, is handy you may be able to re-create it on your own. If you do happen to go this route, please send us some pictures or a video, so we can share it with the community.

In the meantime, we'll keep our eyes open for you.

Hi Dave, the one I saw was in a magazine I think, but can't remember which one. It was made of a white rigid plastic and I thought at the time, if it was black or better still stainless steel I would order it. Now I wish I had ordered it regardless!
